Job Description

Job Summary We are a warm, family‑owned early childhood center with a friendly, supportive team. Our program focuses on nurturing relationships, creating a positive environment, and helping children learn and grow through play, exploration, and connection. We are seeking a caring, dependable Assistant Teacher who enjoys working with young children and supporting lead teachers in the classroom. This role is perfect for someone who is patient, energetic, and excited to be part of a small, close‑knit team. Duties Support lead teachers in daily classroom routines Help create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment Assist with age‑appropriate activities and play Build positive relationships with children and families Maintain a clean, organized classroom Follow EEC regulations and center policies Support children with transitions, meals, diapering, and supervision Qualifications Experience working with young children (child care, babysitting, school, camp, etc.) Strong communication and teamwork skills Reliable, patient, and positive attitude Willingness to learn and grow in the field EEC certification is a plus but not required
