Summary This teacher position is great for a seasoned teacher who loves children, but ready to support teacher to be the best they can be! Or for a teacher who is just starting out and wants to see how different classrooms are run. Our Support Staff is the glue that holds our team together! We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher to join our team at Little Scholars. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting our teaching staff by providing break coverage, helping prep curriculum, cover for a vacation day, helping with a child who needs extra assistance, light cleaning. It is important to be flexible and have a fun personality. You will work closely with children to support their educational journey while ensuring a safe and nurturing environment. Responsibilities Provide coverage in classrooms as needed, ensuring that the children are being cared for and remain engaged while you are there Help teachers in a variety of ways - from cutting projects, to being extra hands when needed Follow a daily schedule that allows you to help in a variety of classrooms and even tasks around the center. Requirements EEC Teacher Certification or 9 months experience and Child Growth and Development course Strong understanding of childhood development principles. Proven experience in classroom management and lesson planning. Excellent communication skills for interacting with children, parents, and staff. Flexible to interact with multi classrooms and age groups throughout the day. $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
