Certified Daycare Teachers Lakeville, MA Apply Responsibilities As a Certified Daycare Teacher, you will: Plan and implement age-appropriate lessons, activities, and learning experiences. Provide attentive and appropriate supervision of children at all times. Create a safe, positive, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment. Use a variety of teaching methods, including stories, music, art, games, indoor and outdoor activities, and hands-on learning. Support children\'s social, emotional, cognitive, language, and physical development. Help children reach age-appropriate developmental milestones. Establish and consistently enforce appropriate classroom rules and expectations. Encourage positive interactions and help children develop healthy social skills. Observe children\'s development, behavior, and classroom interactions. Track children\'s progress and communicate appropriately with parents/guardians. Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, families, and coworkers. Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet children\'s individual interests, abilities, and learning styles. Manage daily classroom routines, including lessons, playtime, meals, breaks, and transitions. Provide for children\'s basic care needs. Collaborate with other teachers and staff to develop and implement lesson plans. Maintain a clean, organized, sanitary, and welcoming classroom. Maintain classroom materials and supply inventory.
