You will be leading a class of students through the school year, assessing their current academic level, and designing instruction to meet students' collective and individual needs. You are passionate about learning and helping students reach their potential. With strong creative and problem-solving skills, you love connecting with individual students and creating an engaging classroom environment. Responsibilities Create and follow a comprehensive curriculum Teach age-appropriate skills Assist children with developing social and emotional skills Use a range of instructional methods and learning techniques Communicate with parents and other school personnel Assess student's skills and performance to ensure they are meeting developmental milestones Complete child's assessments twice a year Work alongside a co-teacher follow all EEC regulations and program policies Attend mandatory staff meetings and events Qualifications EEC teacher certification Strong understanding of child development principles and best practices in education and classroom management Excellent verbal and written communication skills Knowledge of classroom health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and ability to closely adhere to the guidelines Problem-solving and mediation skills
