Duties Implement:
age-appropriate educational activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development in toddlers and preschoolers.
Foster:
a safe, welcoming, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity and learning.
Collaborate:
closely with support teachers to meet the goals of the program and ensure consistency in teaching approaches.
Communicate:
regularly with parents regarding children's progress, behavior, and developmental milestones to build strong partnerships.
Maintain:
compliance with licensing requirements and safety standards, including first aid and CPR certifications.
Promote:
positive behavior management strategies that support social skills and emotional well-being.
Support:
children in developing independence, self-regulation, and social skills through guided interactions. Requirements Valid EEC (Early Education Certification) license for Toddler/Preschool teaching. Proven experience in early childhood education or preschool teaching roles working with young children. Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early education. Ability to effectively communicate with children, parents, and team members. First aid and CPR certification or willingness to obtain upon hire. Strong teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with support teachers and staff. Passion for early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.
Pay:
$23.00 - $24.00 per hour Expected hours: 35.0 per week
