Certified Early Childhood Teacher — Toddler, Preschool & Pre-Kindergarten Cottage Children's Center About Us At Cottage Children's Center, we believe every child deserves a nurturing, stimulating environment where they can grow, explore, and thrive. We are currently seeking passionate, certified Early Childhood Teachers to join our Toddler, Preschool, and Pre-Kindergarten classrooms. Position Overview We are hiring EEC Certified Teachers for the following classrooms: Toddler — requires EEC Infant/Toddler certification Preschool — requires EEC Preschool certification Pre-Kindergarten — requires EEC Preschool certification Requirements EEC Certification as a Teacher or Lead Teacher in the applicable age group: Infant/Toddler certification for Toddler classroom applicants Preschool certification for Preschool and Pre-K classroom applicants CPR and First Aid certification (current) Minimum 1 year of experience in a licensed early childhood setting Genuine passion for early childhood education and child development Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate as part of a team Responsibilities Plan and implement developmentally appropriate, play-based curriculum and activities aligned with each child's individual needs Create a warm, safe, and engaging classroom environment Observe and document children's progress and communicate regularly with families Maintain compliance with EEC licensing regulations and center policies Collaborate with co-teachers and center leadership on program planning and continuous improvement Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and ongoing training Support children's social-emotional growth and model positive guidance strategies Why Work at Cottage Children's Center?
