The ideal candidates will be an EEC certified teacher, have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the social, emotional, and cognitive development of children aged 0-5 years. The Early Childhood Teacher will work closely with families to support each child's growth and learning journey. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards. Foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning. Monitor and assess children's progress through TS Gold and observational methods. Provide individualized support to children, including behavior management strategies to promote positive interactions. Collaborate with parents and guardians to discuss children's development, milestones, and any concerns regarding child welfare. Maintain accurate records of each child's progress, including documentation of activities and assessments using Brightwheel. Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current with best practices in early childhood education. Participate in monthly evening Staff Meetings (typically the 3rd Thursday of the month) Participate in some center-wide events throughout the year (Ice Cream social, Movie-Night, Art Gala, Date Nights, etc.) Experience A degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred. Previous experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting is essential. Familiarity with care practices and childhood development theories specific to infant development is required. Experience in private school settings is a plus but not required. Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and colleagues. A commitment to fostering a caring and responsive environment that addresses the needs of individual children in your care. Compensation Starting salary is dependent on one's level of education If offered a permanent position after a 90 day probation period, the offer will be based off of level of performance during that 90 day period within a salary range. The top of the range is the

  • one can earn at that level of education. The only raises you can earn once you reach the top of the range for your level of education occur at 2 year, 5 year, and 10 year anniversary of employment, or if the pay scales are amended. High-School Diploma/GED with a 3 credit college course in Child Growth & Development and 9 months of experience
