Duties:

• Assist the lead teacher in implementing lesson plans and educational activities
• Provide support to students with their learning and development
• Help maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Assist with behavior management and classroom discipline
• Support students with special needs or individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Provide one-on-one or small group instruction as directed by the lead teacher
• Assist with classroom organization and preparation of materials
• Supervise students during recess, lunchtime, and other non-instructional periods
• Collaborate with the lead teacher and other staff members to ensure effective communication and teamwork

Qualifications:

• Experience working with students in an educational setting, such as tutoring, mentoring, or volunteering
• Knowledge of behavior management techniques and strategies
• Familiarity with classroom management principles and practices
• Ability to provide caregiving support to students, including assisting with personal care tasks if necessary
• Previous experience in babysitting or nannying is a plus
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
