Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Assistant to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting classroom activities, fostering a nurturing environment, and assisting lead teachers in delivering engaging educational experiences for young learners. Your enthusiasm and commitment will help create a positive, safe, and stimulating space where children can explore, learn, and grow. Duties Support lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards, including literacy, math, and social-emotional learning activities Assist with classroom management to ensure a safe and organized environment conducive to learning and play Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote development in language, motor skills, and social interaction Help supervise children during indoor and outdoor play, meals, nap times, and transitions throughout the day Support individualized learning plans for children with special needs or disabilities, including those with autism or other developmental challenges Maintain open communication with teachers and parents about children's progress, behavior, and needs Assist with classroom setup, materials preparation, and maintaining cleanliness to ensure a welcoming learning space Requirements Prior experience working with young children in daycare, preschool, or early childhood education settings is highly preferred Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices Experience with behavior management techniques and classroom management assistance Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, and literacy education strategies Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, specialists (such as special education professionals), and school staff Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and team members Technical proficiency in using educational tools or classroom technology is a plus Demonstrated commitment to supporting inclusive education for children with disabilities or special needs Certification in childcare or early childhood education is advantageous but not mandatory; relevant training will be provided for the right candidate Join us in shaping the future by inspiring young minds!
