Job Description
Facility Maintenance
- Perform minor plumbing repairs including faucets, toilets, valves, and water lines.
- Maintain compressed air, water, and utility systems.
- Complete painting, carpentry, and building repairs.
- Repair doors, locks, shelving, and workstations. Light Electrical Work
- Replace motors, switches, sensors, relays, and limit switches.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using wiring diagrams.
- Replace lighting fixtures, outlets, and components.
- Assist outside contractors on larger electrical projects.
- Maintain lockout/tagout procedures and safety requirements. Industrial Equipment Maintenance
- Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial equipment, including CNC machines, laser cutters, and water jets.
- Diagnose malfunctions, troubleshoot issues, and perform repairs or escalate when necessary.
- Collaborate with production and engineering to reduce downtime and improve performance.
- Maintain maintenance logs, service records, and equipment documentation.
- Maintain proper coolant, oil, and hydraulic fluid levels.
- Assist with troubleshooting mechanical issues and coordinating repairs. Safety Support & Compliance
- Assist the Safety Representative in maintaining workplace safety programs and initiatives.
- Support safety inspections, audits, and hazard assessments across facility and production areas.
- Help ensure compliance with OSHA and company standards.
- Participate in incident investigations and corrective action follow-ups.
- Promote safety by identifying risks and recommending improvements.
