Toddler/Preschool Transition Classroom Teacher Come Grow With an Award-Recognized Program September is an exciting month at Enriched Learning Academy! We are proud of what our team has built—and we are looking for an exceptional educator who is excited to help us continue growing. Enriched Learning Academy is seeking an experienced, collaborative early childhood educator to help lead a thoughtfully designed Toddler/Preschool Transition Classroom . This is not a traditional toddler room or preschool classroom. It is a small, intentionally designed learning environment for children who are ready for more than a traditional toddler program but still need time, guidance, and developmentally appropriate support before transitioning fully into preschool. For the right educator, this is an exciting opportunity to help shape a unique classroom—not simply step into an existing one.
Required EEC Qualifications Applicants must:
Hold current Massachusetts EEC qualifications as both an Infant/Toddler Teacher and Preschool Teacher ; or Fully meet the EEC education and experience requirements to be hired and qualified in both categories. Because this classroom serves children across the toddler and preschool developmental stages, candidates must be qualified—or immediately eligible to be qualified—to teach both age groups. Please clearly identify your current EEC certifications or qualifying education and experience when applying. The Educator We're Looking For Our ideal candidate is someone who: Understands early childhood development and recognizes that children grow, learn, and become ready for new experiences at different rates Creates engaging, play-based learning experiences that strengthen independence, communication, self-regulation, social-emotional development, and early preschool skills Can balance nurturing care with appropriate routines, expectations, and opportunities for growth Observes children carefully and uses those observations to plan meaningful experiences Communicates professionally and compassionately with families Is dependable, flexible, confident, and able to take initiative Values teamwork and welcomes collaboration, feedback, and shared problem-solving Brings warmth, professionalism, creativity, and positive energy into the classroom each day Collaboration Is Essential This educator will work closely with both our toddler and preschool teaching teams. We are looking for someone who will blend naturally into our school culture—someone who shares ideas, communicates openly, supports colleagues, and understands that strong classrooms are built through teamwork. The right candidate will be excited to collaborate on curriculum, classroom routines, developmental goals, and transition planning while also taking ownership of this special learning environment. Responsibilities Create and maintain a warm, engaging, developmentally appropriate classroom Plan play-based learning experiences that respond to children's individual strengths, needs, and readiness Support children's growing independence, language, self-regulation, social skills, and early academic development Establish consistent routines that help children feel safe, capable, and successful Observe and document children's development and progress Build trusting, professional relationships with families Collaborate with toddler teachers, preschool teachers, administrators, and support professionals Maintain all EEC health, safety, supervision, documentation, and licensing requirements Contribute positively to the broader Enriched Learning Academy community Why Enriched Learning Academy?
