Job Description

Overview Join our early childhood education team as a Teacher for Infants, Toddlers, or Preschoolers! In this dynamic role, you will inspire young minds, foster developmental growth, and create a nurturing environment where children feel safe, valued, and excited to learn. Duties Design and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans that incorporate early childhood education principles, including literacy, math, physical education, and Montessori methods Foster a positive classroom atmosphere through effective behavior management and classroom organization strategies Engage children in activities that promote social-emotional growth, motor skills, language development, and cognitive skills Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about children's progress, milestones, and any concerns using clear and compassionate language Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws by accurately documenting any incidents or concerns related to child welfare Maintain a safe environment by following health and safety protocols including first aid and CPR procedures Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum enhancements tailored to diverse learning needs such as special education or early intervention programs Requirements Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or early childhood settings is essential EEC Certified as Teacher or Higher Knowledge of child development stages and instructional techniques for young learners is required Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred; ongoing training in childhood safety is a plus Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and team members Familiarity with classroom management tools and behavior management strategies Experience with curriculum development, standardized testing preparation, and literacy education is advantageous Ability to work within mandated reporting laws ensuring child safety at all times Passion for early childhood education with a commitment to fostering inclusive learning environments that support physical activity, math skills, and overall child welfare Embark on a rewarding journey where your dedication shapes the future of young learners!
