  • Full-time Job Overview Brighter Beginnings Childcare Center is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Full-Time Floater Teacher specializing in Infant, Toddler, and Preschool education.
This versatile role offers the opportunity to work across various age groups within our early childhood program, providing engaging, developmentally appropriate learning experiences. As a Floater Teacher, you will support classroom activities, assist with activity implementation, and foster a nurturing environment that promotes growth, curiosity, and joy in young learners. This position is ideal for passionate educators eager to make a meaningful impact while gaining diverse classroom experience in a vibrant educational setting. Responsibilities Cover classrooms for teachers during paid time off, meetings and lunch breaks Collaborate with classroom teachers to provide a safe, caring and engaging environment for young children ages 6 weeks
  • 5 years old Support classroom management by modeling and facilitating a positive, inclusive environment that encourages social-emotional development and age appropriate behavior.
Assist with daily care routines including diapering, feeding, nap times, and hygiene to ensure the well-being of infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. Collaborate with classroom teachers to support classroom activities that promote children's development across language/literacy, STEM, physical, social-emotional and the arts domains. Use effective behavior management techniques to guide children's social interactions and resolve conflicts constructively. Maintain accurate documentation of children's care, attendance, injury reporting and communicate effectively with families about children's experiences in the day as appropriate
Qualifications:
EEC Teacher Certification (minimum) is required Prior experience working with children in early childhood settings such as daycare, preschool, or private schools. Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early education Excellent communication skills to collaborate with colleagues and engage families effectively. Ability to adapt quickly across different age groups (infants through preschool) while maintaining high standards of child welfare and safety.
