This is a great position for someone who enjoys variety, loves working with children of different ages, and likes being part of a supportive team. As a Floater Teacher, you'll spend time in different classrooms throughout our program, building relationships with children and supporting teachers wherever an extra set of hands is needed. You'll help create a warm, safe, and engaging environment while participating in classroom activities, routines, outdoor play, meals, rest time, and transitions. We are looking for someone who can step into a classroom with confidence, connect with children, and become a positive part of the day. Duties Support teachers and children in classrooms throughout the center as needed. Engage with children through play, activities, conversation, and daily routines. Help maintain warm, safe, clean, and organized classroom environments. Actively supervise children during classroom activities, outdoor play, meals, nap, and transitions. Assist with daily care, including diapering, toileting, feeding, handwashing, and other hygiene routines as appropriate for the age group. Use positive guidance and help children feel comfortable and supported throughout their day. Communicate and work collaboratively with teachers and the leadership team. Follow classroom routines, licensing requirements, and Academy policies and procedures. Build warm, professional relationships with families and help create a welcoming experience at drop-off, pick-up, and throughout the day. Qualifications MA EEC Infant/Toddler and Preschool Teacher certified. Experience working with young children in an early childhood setting. Caring, dependable, flexible, and comfortable working with different age groups. Able to adapt easily to different classrooms, routines, and teaching teams. Strong communication skills and a positive, professional approach with children, families, and coworkers. CPR and First Aid certification preferred; training can be provided if needed.
