Summary:
Positive and nurturing childcare specialist who provides safe, developmentally appropriate care within the child's home and routine. You will support the social/emotional, cognitive, physical, and language development of children under 3 years old through established lesson plans by By Your Side, creating a learning environment in the home that is personalized to the child(ren)'s emerging skills and current strengths. Maintain a "safety first" mentality and a consistent daily schedule personalized to your clients' strengths and emerging skills. Per diem specialists provide childcare coverage based on the family needs, employee availability, and scheduled placements. Coverage includes weekday and weekend support. Why Work for By Your Side?

Primary Responsibilities:
Provide nurturing, responsive, and developmentally appropriate care for infants and toddlers in the family's home. Follow and support the family's established routine alongside their personalized daily schedule . Maintain a "safety first" approach to confirm a healthy environment for children during each scheduled coverage. Assist with child focused responsibilities within the coverage hours only: providing meals planned out by parents, diapering/toileting, naps, and some dressing Provide consistent communication through daily reports and in person contact with parents regarding the child's daily experiences. Provide coverage for weekday and weekend childcare needs. Maintain reliability and punctuality through each work day. Communicate availability and scheduling needs with supervisor Follow all company policies, family expectations, health and safety procedures, and applicable childcare requirements by By Your Side Childcare.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
Experience providing individualized care to children under age 3. Ability to maintain a "safety first" approach towards any environment Ability to work independently while following program policies and family expectations. Position Relationship:
The Per Diem Childcare Specialist is an employee of By Your Side Childcare and provides childcare services to families assigned through the organization. The caregiver works under the direction and policies of By Your Side Childcare while collaborating with families to upkeep their established routines, expectations, and childcare needs. Assignments, schedules, and hours may vary based on family needs and caregiver availability.
Physical Requirement:
Must be able to handle the physical aspects of lifting a child under 3 years old.
Pay:
$608.00 per week
