Role:
The Wonder Years Learning Center in Wilmington, MA is looking for a passionate and nurturing Infant/Toddler Teacher to join their dedicated team! Responsibilities:
Provide attentive, loving care for infants and toddlers in a safe and nurturing classroom environment Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that support cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development Maintain accurate daily logs including feeding, diapering, napping, and developmental milestones Communicate regularly and effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress Ensure classroom cleanliness, safety, and compliance with state childcare licensing regulations Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to create a positive, team-oriented learning environment Follow established routines and schedules to provide consistency and security for young children
Requirements:
Experience working with infants and toddlers in a licensed childcare or early education setting Knowledge of early childhood development principles and best practices EEC (Early Education and Care) certification or willingness to obtain Current CPR and First Aid certification, or ability to obtain upon hire Warm, patient, and compassionate demeanor with a genuine love for working with young children Strong communication skills and ability to build trusting relationships with families Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including lifting, bending, and sitting on the floor
