This role partners closely with the Director to support daily operations, licensing compliance, staff development, classroom quality, and family engagement, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and well-organized learning environment for children, families, and staff. The role will also perform duties as a lead teacher otherwise.
Responsibilities:
Partner with the Director to support and deliver a high-quality early childhood education program aligned with WTCC's mission and values Assist with staff management and support, including hiring, onboarding, training, scheduling, and coaching staff through classroom observations and positive guidance practices Support daily program operations, such as licensing compliance, policies and procedures, enrollment, and administrative responsibilities Support and/or oversee state licensing and WTCC administrative requirements, including children and faculty files, medication & allergy binders, etc. Collaborate with teaching staff on curriculum planning and implementation for core and enrichment programs Oversee classroom operations and documentation, including daily reports, photos, portfolios, and communication platforms Communicate professionally and effectively with families and staff, building respectful and positive relationships Collaborate with the leadership team on school events, family activities, and community engagement initiatives Ensure compliance with all state regulations and school health and safety policies Participate in required meetings, trainings, and ongoing professional development Act as a lead teacher as scheduled or required Serve as Acting Director in the Director's absence Perform other duties as assignedRequirements:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field Previous administrative or leadership experience in a childcare or educational setting Director I or II Certification Ability to work flexible hours between 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other related applications Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent time management and ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment Demonstrated leadership and staff management skills, including mentoring and coachingJob Type:
Full-time Pay:
