Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated MA DEEC Infant Toddler Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will create a nurturing, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment for infants and toddlers, fostering their growth across cognitive, social, emotional, and physical domains. Your enthusiasm and expertise will inspire young learners to explore, discover, and thrive during their formative years. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote early childhood development, literacy, and social skills for infants and toddlers. Create a safe, welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration and independence. Manage daily classroom routines including feeding, diapering, nap times, and sensory activities with patience and care. Use effective behavior management strategies to support positive social interactions and emotional regulation among children. Collaborate with families to share progress updates, developmental milestones, and strategies for supporting each child's growth at home. Incorporate early intervention techniques when necessary to support children with special needs or developmental delays. Maintain accurate records of children's progress, attendance, and health information in compliance with licensing standards. Requirements Prior experience working with children in a daycare or preschool setting is highly preferred. Knowledge of childhood development principles, classroom management techniques, and early intervention strategies. Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, and literacy education methods tailored for infants and toddlers. Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners. Certification in early childhood education or related fields is advantageous; ongoing professional development is encouraged. Ability to manage classroom activities efficiently while ensuring child welfare and safety at all times. Experience working with children with special needs or in inclusive classrooms is a plus.
