This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the foundational years of children's lives while advancing your teaching skills in a dynamic setting. 7AM-1:30PM 1PM-5:30PM Responsibilities Create a warm, welcoming classroom environment that promotes exploration, learning, and social-emotional development for infants and toddlers Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that support developmental milestones in areas such as motor skills, language acquisition, and emotional regulation Supervise children closely to ensure their safety at all times, following best practices in child supervision and classroom management Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress, needs, and milestones through updates and parent-teacher conferences Follow all mandated reporting laws to ensure children's safety and well-being are prioritized at all times Maintain accurate records of children's development, attendance, and daily activities in compliance with childcare standards Collaborate with team members to create individualized care plans for children with special needs or disabilities, incorporating best practices in special education and childhood development Experience Prior classroom experience working with infants or toddlers in a daycare center or preschool setting is highly preferred Demonstrated knowledge of early childhood education principles, child development instruction, and behavior management techniques Experience working with children who have disabilities or special needs is a strong plus Certification in pediatric first aid and CPR is required; additional training in first aid is advantageous Familiarity with daycare experience regulations, childcare licensing standards, and mandated reporting laws is essential Previous nannying or babysitting experience caring for young children can be valuable assets Strong communication skills for parent interaction and teamwork within a childcare environment Join us to help shape the earliest years of children's lives through dedicated care, innovative teaching strategies, and heartfelt engagement.
