Overview We are seeking a passionate and energetic Preschool Teacher to inspire and nurture young learners during their foundational years. Duties Develop and implement dynamic curriculum plans that align with early childhood education standards, including literacy, math, physical education, and social skills Create a safe, inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, independence, and positive behavior management Utilize classroom management techniques to maintain discipline and promote respectful interactions among children Conduct ongoing assessments of child development progress through observations and standardized testing when applicable Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, behavior, and developmental milestones Incorporate special education strategies and early intervention techniques to support children with diverse learning needs Lead engaging activities that promote physical movement, creativity, and cognitive growth tailored to toddlers and preschoolers Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws related to child welfare and safety protocols such as first aid and CPR certification Collaborate with colleagues to plan lessons that incorporate childhood development principles and foster a positive learning atmosphere Experience Prior experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings is required; experience with toddlers is highly valued Demonstrated knowledge of curriculum development tailored for early childhood learners Hands-on experience in classroom management and behavior management strategies Familiarity with special education practices, early intervention programs, and childhood development instruction Proven ability to communicate effectively with parents, staff, and children from diverse backgrounds Experience teaching physical education or tutoring young children is a plus Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred; ongoing professional development in early childhood education is advantageous Knowledge of standardized testing methods relevant to preschool assessment is beneficial Join us in shaping the future by inspiring young minds!
