The Learning Experience

• Gaithersburg is seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Preschool Teacher to join our early childhood education team.
  We're looking for an educator who can create an engaging, structured classroom w preschoolers build confidence, independence, friendships, and important early learning skills through purposeful play and hands-on experiences.
  Key Responsibilities
  
• Lead daily routines and learning experiences in a Preschool classroom
  
• Implement The Learning Experience's proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum
  
• Create engaging activities supporting early literacy, math, science, creativity, and social-emotional development
  
• Encourage independence, communication, problem-solving, and positive peer relationships
  
• Maintain consistent classroom routines and positive guidance
  
• Observe children's development and maintain required classroom documentation
  
• Build strong relationships and communicate regularly with families
  
• Collaborate with classroom support teachers and center leadership
  
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized learning environment
  
• Follow Maryland childcare licensing, health, and safety requirements
  Qualifications
  
• Must meet Maryland requirements to serve as a qualified Preschool Teacher
  
• High school diploma or GED required
  
• Previous professional preschool, daycare, childcare, or early childhood experience preferred
  
• CDA, Early Childhood Education coursework, or related credentials are a plus
  
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
  
• Dependable, nurturing, energetic, and team-oriented
  
• Ability to meet all applicable Maryland childcare licensing requirements
