Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and energetic Early Childhood Teacher to inspire and nurture young learners in infant or preschool settings. This vital role involves creating a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment where children can explore, learn, and grow. Duties Develop and implement engaging curriculum plans tailored to the developmental stages of infants or preschoolers, incorporating literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods where applicable Foster a nurturing environment that supports child welfare, emotional well-being, and social skills through positive behavior management strategies Conduct assessments of childhood development to monitor progress and inform individualized lesson planning Manage classroom activities effectively to ensure safety, engagement, and smooth daily routines in accordance with childcare standards and classroom management best practices Collaborate with families, specialists in special education and early intervention programs to support each child's unique needs Incorporate age-appropriate teaching techniques that promote early literacy skills, numeracy, and physical development Maintain detailed records of student progress, attendance, and behavioral observations while ensuring compliance with standardized testing protocols when applicable Skills Extensive knowledge of early childhood education principles including toddler care, preschool experience, and childhood development Strong curriculum development skills with the ability to design innovative lesson plans that incorporate literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods Proven classroom management expertise to create a positive learning environment conducive to growth and exploration Experience working with children of diverse backgrounds and abilities, including those requiring special education or early intervention services Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with parents, colleagues, and specialists in child welfare and tutoring Familiarity with classroom experience in daycare or private school settings along with understanding of standardized testing procedures Ability to implement behavior management strategies that promote social-emotional learning and respectful interactions Knowledge of teaching physical education activities suitable for young children to support motor skill development Join us in shaping the future by providing high-quality early childhood education that empowers children to thrive!
Pay:
$15.00 - $20.00 per hour
