As a Lead Infant Teacher, you will create a safe, loving, and engaging classroom where our youngest children feel secure, supported, and excited to discover the world around them. You'll build meaningful relationships with children and families while supporting important developmental milestones through nurturing interactions and purposeful learning experiences. Our exclusive Balanced Learning® curriculum provides teachers with established resources and age-appropriate learning experiences, allowing you to focus on what matters most—connecting with the children in your care and helping them learn, grow, and thrive. This is a full-time, Monday-Friday position. Our school is open from 7:00 AM-6:00 PM, and we are looking for candidates with flexible availability who are able to work scheduled opening or closing shifts within our operating hours. Qualifications include:

Must be at least 19 years of age Must have a high school diploma, certificate of high school equivalence, or qualifying college coursework Must meet Maryland COMAR requirements to serve as a qualified Child Care Teacher in an infant classroom Must have completed the applicable approved preservice education/training or qualifying credential required for a Maryland Child Care Teacher Must have completed the required approved training specifically related to the care of infants and toddlers , as applicable Must meet applicable Maryland experience requirements Must have completed or be able to complete required ADA and basic health and safety training Must complete required training in supporting breastfeeding practices for staff working with infants and toddlers Must meet applicable CPR and First Aid certification requirements Must successfully complete all required background checks and clearances Must be able to provide applicable training certificates, transcripts, credentials, and other documentation needed to verify qualifications Candidates who are already fully qualified to serve as a Maryland Child Care Teacher in an infant classroom and can provide documentation of their qualifications are strongly encouraged to apply. Maryland's current COMAR requires child care teachers in preschool centers to be at least 19 and meet specified education, preservice training, communication-training, experience, ADA, and health-and-safety requirements. For teachers assigned to infants and toddlers, COMAR adds specific infant/toddler training pathways and breastfeeding-support training.
