Primrose School of Forest Hill is looking for a warm, dependable, and experienced Lead Infant Teacher to join our growing school family. We are looking for someone who genuinely loves working with babies and understands the importance of providing nurturing, responsive care during a child's earliest years. As a Lead Infant Teacher, you will create a safe, loving, and engaging classroom where our youngest children feel secure, supported, and excited to discover the world around them. You'll build meaningful relationships with children and families while supporting important developmental milestones through nurturing interactions and purposeful learning experiences. At Primrose, you don't have to create a curriculum from scratch. Our exclusive Balanced Learning® curriculum provides teachers with established resources and age-appropriate learning experiences, allowing you to focus on what matters most—connecting with the children in your care and helping them learn, grow, and thrive. This is a full-time, Monday-Friday position. Our school is open from 7:00 AM-6:00 PM, and we are looking for candidates with flexible availability who are able to work scheduled opening or closing shifts within our operating hours. Why You'll Love Working at Primrose School of Forest Hill Monday-Friday schedule with no nights or weekends Supportive and accessible Leadership Team Established Primrose Balanced Learning® curriculum and classroom resources Professional development and training opportunities Opportunities for career growth within our school Positive, collaborative, and team-oriented work environment Paid time off and paid holidays for eligible employees Competitive pay based on education, credentials, and experience The opportunity to build meaningful relationships with children and families What You'll Do Create a warm, nurturing, and responsive classroom where infants feel safe, loved, and supported Provide attentive care while following each child's individual feeding, sleeping, and daily routines Implement age-appropriate learning experiences using the Primrose Balanced Learning® curriculum Support children's physical, cognitive, language, social, and emotional development Observe and document children's developmental progress and milestones Maintain a clean, organized, engaging, and safe infant classroom Follow safe sleep practices and all applicable health, safety, sanitation, and supervision requirements Communicate positively and professionally with families about their child's day and development Build trusting partnerships with parents and guardians Collaborate with co-teachers and our school Leadership Team Follow Primrose Schools standards and all applicable Maryland COMAR child care licensing requirements Maryland Qualifications & Requirements Candidates must meet or be able to provide documentation demonstrating that they meet the applicable Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE), Office of Child Care, and COMAR requirements for a Child Care Teacher working with infants.
