1 professional and energetic full-time Early Preschool (2's-3's) Teacher 1 professional and energetic full-time Preschool (3's-4's) Teacher 1 professional and energetic full-time School-Age Before & After School Child Care Teacher 1 professional and energetic full-time School-Age Before & After School Child Care Center Director The Infant/Toddler Teacher position is available at our all-ages child care center located next to the intersection of Gas House Pike and Monocacy Blvd in Frederick, MD (next to the new Royal Farms) (prior to 2020, a Pump It Up facility was at this location). Our Infant/ToddlerTeachers are responsible for general classroom management and supervision, which includes the personal care, hygiene, and positive discipline of the children. As an Infant/Toddler or Preschool Teacher, you will prepare and implement activities for children that stress physical, social, and emotional growth and provide materials and resources for children to explore, manipulate, and use, both in learning activities and in active play. Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE)

Required Qualifications:

Ability to pass a criminal background check, and have fingerprints kept on-file with Frederick Co. Sheriff's Office & FBI The Infant/Toddler Teacher candidate must have the 45-hour Infant/Toddler Certification as well as the 45-hour Child Development course (90 hours) 9-hour Communication Course or an MSDE-acceptable college course substitute Current Infant/Child CPR and First Aid Certifications or be willing to obtain. Minimum of 19 years of age High school diploma or GED Active Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential (or willing to obtain, and enrolled in associated courses) Have at least one of the following: a) 400 hours of recent experience working with infants/toddlers in a licensed child care facility, or; b) One year of college coursework relating to the care of infants/toddlers, or; c) an MSDE-acceptable combination of college course work & work experience.

Clubhouse Kids Qualifications:

Must meet all requirements stipulated by MSDE (listed above) for this position Must have minimum 1-year experience (minimum 2-years experience preferred) working with infants/toddlers in a MD Licensed child care center Ability to pass standard illicit drug use testing AA or BA degree in Early Childhood Education (or currently working towards) or related field preferred but not required Pleasant/friendly demeanor and an outgoing personality Highly professional and dependable Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English Excellent customer service, and problem-solving skills; including the ability to maintain composure under stress Must be able to interact appropriately with students of all ages & skill levels, as well as with parents, co-workers, and management Must be able to assume low level postures to allow physical and visual contact with children, see and hear well enough to keep children safe, and to engage in physical activity with them on a day-to-day basis (i.e.: stoop & bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects up to 40 pounds to at least waist high on a consistent basis throughout each workday) Must be able to stand on your feet for long periods of time Ability to perform strict center & toy cleaning procedures according to MSDE, CDC, and MD Dept. of Health guidance Ability to use a computer with basic proficiency Ability to work indoors or outdoors during all seasons Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices Classroom teaching experience in an accredited early childhood facility is a plus Clubhouse Kids is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Job Type:

Full-time (estimated to be approximately 37-40 hours per week) Permanent position

Shift:

Expected to be an 8-hour work shift with a 1-hour lunch break Monday-Friday from approximately 9:15am to 6:15pm daily except major holidays (exact shift to be determined depending upon children's' attendance routines).
