Job Description

Mold young learners in a supportive, caring environment where teachers, administrators, families, and children thrive! We are looking for an experienced Lead Teacher to lead our preschool classroom. The Lead Teacher will create an environment that allows children to achieve their full potential. They will perform duties such as planning, organizing and evaluating their classroom, overseeing student instruction and facilitating interactions between teachers and parents. The successful candidate will have experience working with children, excellent communication skills and the ability to work within a team. Hourly rate is based on Education, Certifications and Experience.
Qualifications:
A degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is required. At least 2 years' experience working with preschool-aged children is required. MD 90-hour certification (Required) CPR Certification (Preferred)
Responsibilities:
Have excellent classroom management skills. Observe each child daily to assess skills, interests, and needs and use this information to facilitate learning and growth. Develop innovative teaching methods. Keep abreast of current knowledge in the field of Early Childhood Education. Meet regularly with Teacher Aides to develop weekly plans and activities. Assist the Center Director in providing orientation and training for new staff, substitutes, and volunteers. Join us in shaping the minds of our future leaders while providing them with the foundational skills they need to succeed!

$21.00 - $26.00 per hour
