Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Childcare Provider to join our team. This role is essential in creating a safe, engaging, and educational environment for children. The ideal candidate will have experience in childcare settings and a passion for fostering children's development through play, education, and positive behavior management. Responsibilities Supervise and ensure the safety of children at all times. Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, and intellectual growth. Educate children through structured play, storytelling, and creative activities. Manage behavior effectively using positive reinforcement techniques. Provide care for toddlers, preschoolers, and school-aged children as needed. Maintain a clean and organized environment conducive to learning and play. Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns. Assist with meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition during care hours. Requirements Previous experience in childcare, nannying, or babysitting is preferred. Knowledge of first aid and CPR is a plus. Strong understanding of child development principles and behavior management strategies. Ability to engage with children in a fun and educational manner. Experience with toddlers or preschool-aged children is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with children and parents alike. A patient, caring demeanor with a genuine love for working with children. Highschool Diploma preferred This is a substitute position. Hours and days vary-Monday-Friday, 7am to 5pm.
