Job Overview:

•We are seeking a passionate Daycare Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in childhood development, daycare, caregiving, and /or childcare. If you are enthusiastic about educating and caring for children, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement engaging, age-appropriate curriculum and activities that support social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development. Foster a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning. Observe, assess, and document children's progress and development, identifying areas for individual growth. Communicate regularly with parents about their child's development, activities, and any concerns. Prioritize the safety, health, and well-being of all children, ensuring a secure and supportive environment. Collaborate with other staff members to continuously enhance program quality and meet Maryland childcare standards. Ensure compliance with all licensing and regulatory requirements. Train Assistant Teacher and Assistant. Responsible in entering the food meal in the food program KidKare.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent (required); coursework in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred Minimum of 3+ years of experience working with children in a daycare, preschool, or educational setting 90+ clock hours (or equivalent) in approved early childhood coursework CPR and First Aid certification (required) Completion of all mandatory training within 60 days of employment (per Maryland childcare regulations) Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage children and families Demonstrated qualities of being creative, patient, detail-oriented, proactive, and nurturing Ability to take initiative and work both independently and as part of a team Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred Must be legally authorized to work in the United States If you possess a genuine love for children, have experience in early childhood education, and are dedicated to providing a supportive learning environment, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding Daycare Teacher position.
