Responsibilities Support classroom activities by assisting with lesson plans focused on childhood development, early education, and social-emotional learning. Supervise children during playtime, meals, naps, and outdoor activities to ensure safety and proper behavior management. Implement child supervision strategies aligned with best practices in early childhood education and daycare center standards. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress, behavior, and daily needs. Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that promotes learning and safety for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. Assist in administering first aid or pediatric first aid when necessary, following mandated reporting laws and safety protocols. Support classroom management by encouraging positive behavior and supporting individual needs of children with disabilities or special education requirements. Requirements Prior experience working with children in daycare centers, preschools, or similar settings is highly preferred. Knowledge of childhood development instruction, behavior management techniques, and early childhood education principles. Certification in first aid and CPR (Childhood First Aid preferred), with willingness to update certifications as required. Experience working with children with disabilities or special education needs is a plus. Strong communication skills for parent interaction and team collaboration. Ability to manage classroom activities effectively while maintaining a safe environment for infants through preschool-aged children.
