Tree of Life Early Learning Center in Laurel, MD is looking for a passionate and nurturing Infant/Toddler Teacher to join our dedicated team! Responsibilities:
Provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for infants and toddlers Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that support cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development Monitor and document each child's developmental milestones and daily progress Maintain open, consistent communication with parents and guardians regarding their child's care and development Follow daily routines including feeding, diapering, napping, and play schedules Ensure classroom cleanliness and adherence to health and safety standards Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to create a cohesive, positive learning community
Requirements:
Experience working with infants and toddlers in a childcare or early education setting Knowledge of early childhood development principles and best practices CDA (Child Development Associate) credential or relevant degree in Early Childhood Education preferred Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) Ability to meet Maryland childcare licensing requirements Patient, compassionate, and enthusiastic demeanor with young children Strong communication and teamwork skills
