$17•19 per hour
Schedule:
Full-Time, Monday-Friday The Learning Experience•Owings Mills is seeking a confident and caring Lead Toddler Teacher to guide our 2-year-old classroom. This role is ideal for an experienced early childhood educator who enjoys helping toddlers build language skills, independence, and early social development through structured routines and hands-on learning. Our twos classroom is an exciting stage where children develop communication, curiosity, and confidence. Key Responsibilities Lead a classroom of 2-year-olds in a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate environment Plan and implement activities aligned with the L.E.A.P. curriculum Support language development, motor skills, and social-emotional growth Guide daily routines including meals, toileting, transitions, and rest time Supervise assistant teachers and maintain classroom ratios Communicate regularly with families regarding daily updates and progress Maintain classroom organization and follow Maryland licensing requirements Qualifications Infant/Toddler and Preschool Teacher qualification required under Maryland licensing High school diploma or higher required Experience leading a toddler classroom preferred Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices CPR and First Aid preferred Must meet Maryland childcare licensing and background requirements Why Join Our Team Competitive hourly pay Supportive leadership and collaborative team culture Professional development opportunities Employee childcare discount Apply today to lead a toddler classroom where children build confidence, independence, and a love of learning.
