Preschool Teacher Join Our Team and Inspire Young Minds! Magic Moments Early Learning Center is seeking a passionate, creative, and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our team! If you have a love for early childhood education and enjoy helping children learn through play, exploration, and meaningful experiences, we'd love to hear from you. As a Preschool Teacher, you'll create a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment where children build confidence, independence, and a lifelong love of learning. Responsibilities Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans that support children's cognitive, social-emotional, language, and physical development. Foster a positive, nurturing classroom environment where every child feels safe, respected, and valued. Encourage learning through hands-on activities, creative play, music, art, literacy, and STEM experiences. Promote kindergarten readiness by supporting early literacy, math, problem-solving, and social skills. Observe and document children's developmental progress and maintain accurate classroom records. Build positive relationships with children and families through open, respectful communication. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom that meets all Maryland licensing and health regulations. Collaborate with fellow teachers and leadership to provide high-quality early childhood education. Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and ongoing training opportunities. Maintain professionalism and uphold the mission and values of Magic Moments Early Learning Center. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. CDA, Associate's Degree, or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred. Previous experience teaching preschool-aged children in a licensed childcare or early learning setting. Strong understanding of child development and developmentally appropriate practices. Excellent classroom management, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to create engaging lesson plans and foster a positive learning environment. CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain). Ability to lift children, bend, kneel, and remain active throughout the workday. Must provide current medical documentation, including a negative Tuberculosis (TB) screening/test. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Must provide acceptable employment eligibility documentation (such as a Social Security card, birth certificate, or other documents required for employment verification). Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening. Must successfully pass a criminal background check in accordance with Maryland childcare licensing regulations. Must be physically able to safely supervise young children and perform the essential functions of the position. Must maintain a professional appearance, positive attitude, and professional conduct at all times.
