$17•19 per hour
Schedule:
Full-Time, Monday-Friday The Learning Experience•Owings Mills is seeking an enthusiastic and dependable Preschool Teacher to support classrooms serving children ages 2½ to 4 years old. This role focuses on helping young learners build confidence, communication skills, and school readiness through structured routines and play-based learning. Our preschool program emphasizes early literacy, social-emotional development, creativity, and independence in a safe and engaging classroom environment. Key Responsibilities Lead and support daily preschool classroom activities in a structured learning environment Implement developmentally appropriate lessons aligned with the L.E.A.P. curriculum Encourage early literacy, math foundations, and social skills through play-based learning Maintain consistent classroom routines including meals, transitions, learning centers, and rest time Observe and support children's developmental progress Communicate regularly with families about milestones and classroom activities Maintain classroom organization and follow Maryland licensing and safety standards Qualifications Infant/Toddler and Preschool Teacher qualification required under Maryland licensing High school diploma or higher required Previous preschool or childcare classroom experience preferred Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices CPR and First Aid certification preferred Must meet Maryland childcare licensing and background requirements Why Join Our Team Competitive hourly pay Supportive leadership and collaborative team culture Professional development opportunities Employee childcare discount Apply today to help young learners build the skills, confidence, and curiosity needed for their next stage of learning.
