Lead Twos/Threes Teacher Giggles Early Learning Center - Owings Mills, Maryland Giggles Early Learning Center is seeking an experienced, dependable, and nurturing Lead Twos/Threes Teacher to join our Giggles family. This position is ideal for an early childhood professional who enjoys helping children ages two and three learn, grow, develop independence, and feel safe and loved throughout their day. Starting Pay Starting at $19.00 per hour Final compensation will be based on verified child care experience, education, certifications, and qualifications. Schedule Applicants must have availability for varying shifts between: 6:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday Required Qualifications Applicants must: Be at least 19 years old. Have a high school diploma, high school equivalency certificate, or qualifying college coursework. Be qualified, or eligible to become qualified, as a Child Care Teacher through the Maryland State Department of Education's Office of Child Care. Have completed 90 clock hours of approved preservice training, six semester hours of approved college coursework, or hold a current Child Development Associate credential. Have completed the 45-hour Child Growth and Development course and the 45-hour Preschool Curriculum and Activities course, or approved equivalent coursework. Have completed nine hours of approved Communication Skills training or an approved college-level communication course. Have completed three hours of approved Including All Children and the Americans with Disabilities Act training. Have completed, or be able to complete, MSDE-approved Basic Health and Safety training within the required timeframe. Meet Maryland's education and experience requirements for a preschool Child Care Teacher. Successfully complete all required background checks, fingerprinting, medical documentation, and employment clearances. Have current CPR and First Aid certification or be willing to complete employer-provided training. Previous experience working in a licensed child care center is strongly preferred. Child care experience must be clearly listed on the applicant's résumé.
