Open Positions:

Infant Lead Teacher Preschool Lead Teacher Qualifications Applicants must meet Maryland Office of Child Care (OCC) requirements for a Child Care Teacher, including: At least 19 years old High school diploma/GED or qualifying college education 90-Hour Child Care Certification or OCC-approved equivalent/qualifying coursework 9-Hour Communication Training or qualifying college coursework 3-Hour ADA Training Basic Health & Safety Training Required qualifying child care experience and/or education First Aid & CPR certification Ability to successfully complete all OCC-required background checks and clearances Infant Lead Teacher applicants must also meet OCC requirements to supervise children under age 2, including required Infant & Toddler training and Supporting Breastfeeding Practices training. Preference will be given to applicants who are already fully OCC-qualified and can provide documentation of their completed training and certifications. Responsibilities Lead Teachers will create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment; plan and implement age-appropriate activities; maintain classroom routines and documentation; communicate with families; and ensure their classroom follows Bright Moon and OCC health, safety, and supervision requirements. We are looking for teachers who are warm, patient, reliable, organized, and genuinely enjoy working with young children. Pay starts at $19/hour and increases based on experience, education, certifications, and qualifications.
