Job Description

KinderCare is seeking dedicated Teachers for our Severna Park learning center to nurture and inspire young children. In this role, you will create engaging, developmentally appropriate lesson plans that support social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth. You'll maintain a safe, inclusive classroom, closely supervise children, and communicate regularly with families about their child's progress. Collaborating with a supportive team, you'll help design enriching activities, follow health and safety standards, and participate in ongoing training to grow your career in early childhood education with KinderCare. Responsibilities Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities Provide a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment Supervise children to ensure safety and wellbeing at all times Communicate regularly with families about child progress and classroom activities Support social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development Maintain classroom cleanliness and adhere to health and safety standards Observe and document children's development and behavior Collaborate with center staff to support program goals Participate in professional development and training Uphold Kinder Care policies and licensing regulations Required Skills Classroom management Early childhood curriculum planning Lesson planning Child supervision Parent communication Child development assessment Behavior management Safety and hygiene compliance Record keeping Collaboration with teaching staff
