Embark Education | Private Preschool Embark Education is looking to add full-time and part-time Floating Assistant Teachers to our growing team! We are a private preschool with an inclusive classroom model and a dedication to educating children as individuals. About the Role As a Floating Assistant Teacher, you'll play an essential role in supporting the daily operations of our school. Every day is different!
Your responsibilities will include:
Providing classroom support across all age groups as needed Assisting teachers by covering scheduled lunch breaks Serving as an in-house substitute when teachers are out for PTO or other planned absences Helping maintain engaging, safe, and nurturing learning environments Supporting children's social, emotional, and developmental growth Collaborating with teachers and administrators to ensure smooth daily operations This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, values teamwork, and wants to make a meaningful impact throughout the entire school community.
Qualifications Applicants must:
Be at least 19 years of age Possess a High School Diploma or GED Preferred Qualifications Applicants who have (or are willing to obtain) the following are encouraged to apply: Experience working with young children of varying abilities and needs 45-Hour Infant & Toddler Care Certification Associate's Degree or higher in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field CPR & First Aid Certification 9-Hour Communication Training Certification Supporting Breastfeeding in Child Care Certification Keeping Infants Safe (SIDS) Certification Basic Health & Safety Certification COVID Training Position Details Full-time and part-time positions available Immediate start dates Supportive, collaborative team environment Opportunities for professional growth and training Why Embark Education?
