Stevensville, MD Full-Time and Part-Time Positions Available Pay:
$15.00 - $16.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications. Regular performance reviews with opportunities for pay increases and advancement. About Stepping Stone Children's Center Stepping Stone Children's Center is a licensed early childhood education program serving families in Queen Anne's County, Maryland. We provide a safe, structured, and nurturing environment where children thrive and staff feel supported. We are seeking dependable and caring Teacher's Aides to support our toddler and preschool classrooms. This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in growing in the early childhood education field. Position Responsibilities Assist the Lead Teacher in maintaining a safe, structured, and nurturing classroom environment Supervise children at all times to ensure their safety and well-being Support daily classroom routines, activities, and transitions Assist with implementing lesson plans and classroom activities Help maintain a clean, organized, and professional classroom Support children's social, emotional, and developmental growth Maintain professionalism with families and coworkers Follow all MSDE Office of Child Care licensing and safety requirements Qualifications Dependable and reliable attendance required Consistent attendance, punctuality, and reliability are essential for this position Positive attitude and willingness to learn Strong teamwork and communication skills Ability to work in a structured, professional environment Prior child care experience preferred but not required Must be able to pass background check and fingerprinting Must meet MSDE Office of Child Care requirements Schedule Full-Time and Part-Time positions available Monday-Friday Consistent, predictable scheduling within center operating hours Benefits Paid Time Off (full-time employees) Tuition reimbursement and paid training Professional development opportunities Clear advancement path to Lead Teacher positions Supportive and professionally run work environment Why Join Stepping Stone Children's Center We are a stable, well-established center with strong leadership and clear expectations.
