Job Description
Lead Teacher (Toddler & 2-Year-Old Classroom) Perfect Harmony Preschool is located in Suitland, MD and serves children from 12 months - 5 years old. Seeking a full-time teacher for a multi-aged (15 - 35 months) class who enjoys guiding the growth and development of young children in a well-rounded environment. This teacher will interact with students and parents, facilitate daily instruction, and maintain classroom order and student safety. Perfect Harmony's hours are 6:45am - 5:00pm and teachers work a 40-hour week. The scheduled hours for this position are 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. with a 1-hour lunch break. The successful candidate will work closely with the director, aides, and other center staff to meet the individual needs of the children and families in their classroom. Develop and implement weekly age-appropriate lesson plans for the children's physical, mental, and emotional development levels according to classroom curriculum Lead all or part of daily lessons, transitions, and group activities Supervise children according to licensing guidelines to ensure their safety at all times Monitor indoor and outdoor play times •Maintain classroom environment, appearance, and cleanliness according to
