Conduct ongoing assessments of child development to tailor instruction and support individual learning needs. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about children's progress, milestones, and any concerns related to behavior or development. Manage classroom routines efficiently, including lesson planning, transitions, and maintaining a structured daily schedule. Incorporate special education strategies and early intervention techniques to support children with diverse learning needs. Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and maintain accurate documentation of children's progress and incidents. Requirements Proven experience working with children in early childhood settings such as preschools or daycare centers. Knowledge of childhood development principles, curriculum development, and classroom management techniques. Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional certifications in special education or Montessori methods are a plus. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with parents, colleagues, and children. Familiarity with standardized testing procedures, behavior management strategies, and early intervention practices. Ability to plan engaging lessons that incorporate literacy education, math concepts, physical activities, and social-emotional learning.
