Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Lead Infant Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will help lead the development and implementation of engaging, age-appropriate activities for infants, fostering a nurturing environment that promotes growth, exploration, and emotional security. As a leader in our classroom, you will mentor assistant teachers, communicate effectively with parents, and ensure compliance with all safety and educational standards. Your enthusiasm and expertise will inspire young children to thrive during their foundational years while creating a positive and stimulating classroom atmosphere. Responsibilities Help Lead daily classroom activities focused on infant development, including sensory play, language acquisition, motor skills, and social-emotional growth. Supervise and support assistant teachers and caregivers to ensure high-quality care and educational practices. Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment by adhering to health and safety regulations, including pediatric first aid and CPR protocols. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns, fostering strong relationships built on trust. Implement individualized for infants with special needs or disabilities in collaboration with families and specialists. Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and other licensing requirements related to child safety and welfare. Manage classroom behavior through positive guidance techniques while promoting independence and curiosity in young children. Experience Prior experience working with infants in a daycare center or early childhood education setting is essential.

MUST HAVE

infant toddler certification Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development instruction, behavior management, and classroom management strategies. Certification in first aid, CPR (Child and Pediatric First Aid), and relevant early childhood education credentials are a plus. Proven ability to communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and children to create a collaborative learning environment. Familiarity with mandated reporting laws and health & safety standards related to childcare settings. Previous roles such as nannying or babysitting that involved caring for infants can be valuable assets for this position.
