Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant Daycare Assistant to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will support the development and well-being of infants by creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment. Your enthusiasm and commitment will help lay the foundation for each child's growth, ensuring they feel secure and engaged throughout their day. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on young lives while gaining valuable experience in childcare and early childhood education. Duties Assist in supervising infants during play, feeding, napping, and diapering routines to ensure their safety and comfort Support classroom management by organizing activities that promote developmental milestones in areas such as motor skills, language, and social interaction Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment in compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper sanitation of toys and equipment Communicate effectively with parents about their child's daily activities, progress, and any concerns to foster trust and partnership Implement child development instruction techniques tailored to infants' individual needs and developmental stages Support staff with classroom setup, activity planning, and documentation of developmental observations Follow mandated reporting laws to report any signs of neglect or abuse promptly and appropriately Qualifications Prior experience working with infants or in a daycare setting is highly preferred Knowledge of early childhood education principles and child development stages An understanding of classroom management techniques for young children including behavior management strategies Excellent communication skills for parent interaction and team collaboration Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining patience, compassion, and professionalism Join us in nurturing the next generation by providing exceptional care that fosters growth, curiosity, and confidence from the very start!
Pay:
$15.10 - $17.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
