Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development for infants and toddlers Create a nurturing classroom environment that encourages exploration, independence, and positive interactions among children Monitor and document each child's developmental progress using standardized assessments and observation techniques Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's milestones, daily activities, and any concerns or updates Manage classroom routines including feeding, diapering, nap times, and hygiene practices in accordance with health and safety standards Apply behavior management strategies to support positive social interactions and emotional regulation among young children Collaborate with colleagues to plan engaging activities that incorporate early literacy education, sensory play, and physical development Requirements Experience working with children in a childcare or preschool setting, specifically with infants and toddlers. We will train the right fit if that means you have no experience. Knowledge of child development principles and early childhood education best practices Familiarity with curriculum development tailored to early learners' needs Certification in First Aid and CPR required; If you do not have this certification we are able to certify you. Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members Classroom management skills to create an organized, safe learning environment that fosters growth and curiosity Experience with behavior management techniques suitable for young children and classroom management strategies Flexibility to adapt lesson plans based on individual child needs and developmental progress Embark on a rewarding journey where your dedication helps young children thrive!
