Job Description

Overview We are a small family owned and run childcare center, seeking a passionate and dedicated teacher aide to join our team. The ideal candidate will be reliable and motivated to work. They will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for children, fostering their growth and development through engaging activities and individualized attention. This role requires a strong understanding of early childhood education principles and the ability to manage a classroom effectively. Responsibilities Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and discovery through play! Manage classroom behavior effectively, ensuring a positive atmosphere. Provide care for infants and/or toddlers, including assistance with daily activities such as feeding, diapering, and nap time. Observe and assess children's progress, documenting their development and communicating with parents about their achievements. Foster strong relationships with students, encouraging their social skills and emotional well-being. work well with other team members. Maintain a clean and organized classroom and center space.
Preferred Skills:
Proven experience working with children in a childcare setting is preferred. Strong classroom management skills. Good communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and other staff. A commitment to fostering an inclusive environment for all students. First Aid/CPR preferred but not required. Would be required upon hire(we pay for all required trainings. Monthly bonus currently available for all eligible staff through the Wage Supplement Program.
Pay:
$15.30 - $15.55 per hour
