Through a responsive, play-based curriculum, children are connected to the world around them and encouraged to wonder, explore interests, build confidence, and develop a lifelong love of learning. We are seeking a reliable, energetic, and compassionate Preschool Teacher to join our preschool classroom, serving children 2 1/2 to 4 years old . Preschool Teachers support and provide a developmentally rich, play-based environment that encourages creativity, independence, and critical thinking. What You'll Do Plan and implementing The Creative Curriculum activities aligned with the Maine Early Childhood Learning Guidelines Assist in creating a nurturing, organized, and engaging classroom environment for preschoolers Model age-appropriate social skills, problem solving, and positive peer interactions Help facilitate child-led learning experiences and school readiness skills Greet families and maintain strong communication regarding children's progress Support daily routines, including group activities, meals, and playtime Maintain a consistent schedule within our operating hours: Monday-Friday, 7:15am-5:30pm What We're Looking For Minimum of 2 years childcare or teaching experience (preferred) Passion for early childhood education and supporting school readiness Comfortable working with children 2 1/2 to 4 years old Team-oriented, patient, and reliable Willing and able to complete a federal background check Preferred Education CDA or ECE Degree preferred Level 5 MRTQ preferred We proudly support ongoing professional development and educational growth Benefits Medical, Dental, and Life Insurance Short-Term Disability Paid Holidays, Vacation, and Personal Time 401(k) with Match MRTQ-Based Monthly Bonus Discount on Child Care Paid Training and professional development opportunities If you're a compassionate educator ready to support children in their growth and learning, we would love to hear from you.

$16.00
•$20.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
