School Age Child Care Assistant Kids & Co. Childcare Center•
Turner, ME Position Overview:
We are looking for energetic, reliable, and engaging individuals to join our team. This position is part-time during the school year, and full time during school vacation weeks and breaks. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys staying active, being creative, and working closely with school-age children in a fun, structured environment. School Year Schedule (Required): Monday•Friday 15 hours per week School Vacations (Required): Monday•Friday 40 Hours per week
Responsibilities:
Supervise and engage with children ages 5-12 Lead and participate in games, activities, and field trips Help create a fun, safe, and structured environment Encourage positive behavior and inclusion among all children Assist with daily routines, transitions, and clean-up Communicate effectively with team members and leadership
What We're Looking For:
Reliable and punctual Positive attitude and high energy Comfortable getting on the floor and actively engaging with children Ability to manage groups and keep children safe Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to lift 30-35 pounds
