• Byron Center is seeking a nurturing and dependable Infant Teacher to join our early childhood education team.

This is a wonderful opportunity for an educator who loves working with babies and being part of their earliest milestones. You'll create a warm, responsive classroom where infants feel safe, secure, and loved while developing through meaningful interactions, sensory experiences, movement, and play. Key Responsibilities Provide nurturing, responsive care in an Infant classroom Support individualized feeding, diapering, sleep, and daily care routines Engage infants through sensory play, music, movement, language, tummy time, and age-appropriate activities Support cognitive, physical, language, and social-emotional development Observe children's development and maintain required classroom documentation Provide attentive supervision and responsive care throughout the day Build trusting relationships and communicate regularly with families Collaborate with fellow teachers and center leadership Maintain a clean, safe, organized, and nurturing classroom Follow Michigan childcare licensing, health, and safety requirements Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Previous professional daycare, childcare, or infant classroom experience preferred Experience caring for infants strongly preferred CDA or Early Childhood Education coursework is a plus Patient, nurturing, dependable, and team-oriented Comfortable with feeding, diapering, and other infant care routines Must meet applicable Michigan childcare licensing requirements What We Offer Competitive pay of $17
