Job Description
Overview Join our in home childcare team as a Child Care Assistant! Looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated person who will help create a safe, nurturing, and fun environment for children of all ages. In this role, you will support early childhood development by assisting with daily activities, ensuring children's safety, and fostering positive learning experiences. Your energy and compassion will contribute to the growth and happiness of every child in your care. Duties Assist with supervising children during playtime, meals, naps, and educational activities to promote a safe and stimulating environment Provide attentive care for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, including feeding, diapering, and comforting as needed Help manage behavior through positive reinforcement and gentle guidance to encourage social skills and emotional regulation Maintain cleanliness and organization of the childcare area to ensure health standards are met Skills Experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying or classroom settings Ability to respond quickly and effectively in emergency situations; certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable Familiarity with caring for infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children including diapering, feeding, and engaging in age-specific activities Demonstrated ability to create a nurturing environment that promotes learning through play and exploration
