Job Summary Join our dynamic automotive service team as an Automotive Technician, where your expertise will drive excellence in vehicle repair and maintenance. In this energetic role, you will diagnose, repair, and service a wide range of vehicles, ensuring optimal performance and safety for our valued customers. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues across various vehicle systems including powertrain, electrical, suspension, and transmission. Repair and maintain vehicles by replacing worn or damaged parts, including engines, transmissions, suspension components, and electrical wiring systems. Interpret automotive wiring diagrams and schematics to accurately troubleshoot electrical problems and implement effective solutions. Conduct vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, wheel alignments, and system calibrations like ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems). Utilize hand tools and power tools efficiently to complete repairs with precision while adhering to safety standards. Diagnose complex issues related to diesel engines and GM vehicles specifically, ensuring repairs meet manufacturer specifications. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process. Requirements Proven dealership or service technician experience with a strong background in automotive diagnostics and repair. Extensive knowledge of vehicle systems including powertrain, transmission, electrical systems, suspension, and ADAS technology. Proficiency with automotive diagnostic tools and ability to interpret schematics and wiring diagrams accurately. Mechanical knowledge complemented by hands-on experience with hand tools and power tools used in vehicle repair. Experience working on GM vehicles or similar makes is preferred but not mandatory. Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance procedures such as alignments, transmission repairs, engine diagnostics, and system calibrations. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients. Valid mechanic certification or relevant technical training; ASE certification is a plus. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
