Job Description

We are seeking positive, patient, and loving candidates who genuinely love spending time with children to join our fast paced, rewarding environment. Rate of pay is competitive and based on level of education and experience in the field. Looking for a 3 year old preschool lead teacher and a 2.5-3 year old Transition lead teacher.
Lead Teacher Responsibilities:
Plan, supervise, and carry out an education program designed by Lil' People's Place. Responsible for the appearance of a welcoming classroom (ie. bulletin boards, care of equipment and materials, overall cleanliness, and organization). Mentor assistant teachers. Always supervise children in the classroom and on playground. Share in classroom cleaning duties. Have open, daily communication with parents. Lesson planning. Implementing strong classroom management. Maintaining an environment that meets all licensing regulations, to promote a loving and nurturing classroom. Having a positive and professional attitude.
Lead Teacher Requirements:
Looking for someone who is positive, caring, loving, and patient. Must work well with others. Able to lift children of varying ages and equipment of varying sizes.
Educational requirements:
Bachelor's Degree, Associate's Degree, CDA or minimum 12 semester hours in Early Childhood Education or child related field with 960 hours of experience. Infant, Child and Adult CPR and First Certification. 16 hours of continued education. Fingerprint Background Check through CCBC.
