Category Imaging - Cath Lab Tech Job Type Contract Seeking a skilled imaging specialist with expertise as a Cath Lab Tech for a dynamic role in a busy cardiac/EP laboratory. This 13-week contract provides an opportunity to work alongside leading clinicians while advancing your procedural and teamwork skills.
Schedule/Hours:
Full-time, weekdays 6:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. One variable weekday off each week On-call commitment: 1 weekend per month (Friday 5 p.m. - Monday 6:30 a.m.) 4 weeknights of on-call per month (5 p.m. - 6:30 a.m. the following day) No routine weekend shifts beyond the on-call rotation
Required Experience and Qualifications:
1-2 years minimum experience in a cath/EP lab setting Confident scrubbing for all types of heart caths, peripheral vascular procedures, structural heart, and EP procedures Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment Proficiency or familiarity with Merge Hemo documentation system is preferred RCIS or RCES licensure preferred; ARRT with strong cath lab scrubbing experience is acceptable Active ACLS and BLS certifications required
Responsibilities:
Provide direct technical support during complex cardiac and electrophysiology procedures Ensure efficient, safe, and accurate operation of all cath lab equipment Maintain high standards of infection control and patient safety throughout all processes Accurately document procedures using the designated electronic medical record system Respond effectively to emergent situations and participate in on-call coverage per schedule This position is ideal for a committed professional eager to contribute expertise in a fast-paced setting, while gaining exposure to advanced cardiac and vascular interventions.
